STEPHANIE KITTELL Producer/ Director
Stephanie has been making films for over six years. Her short comedy The Adventures of Slugboy and Super-Challenged Guy, which she co-wrote, co-produced, and directed was chosen as one of the top five films of the Ontario Charlie Film Awards in 2002, and given a Best Writing Award of Merit. Also in 2002, a short she co-wrote and directed, Cyberwho? , was short-listed and screened on opening night of the Ontario Charlie Awards in 2002, and given an Award of Merit in Directing.
Since then Stephanie has directed, wrote and produced a number of shorts, including the documentary Mommy Bought Me at Blah Blahs?, the story of woman coming to terms with her adoption, as well as the short mockumentary about a newfound disease, Artistic Affliction. Most recently,Stephanie worked as Associate Producer on two 30 minute television episodes, BPM:TV Presents Destiny freakout 666, as well as BPM:TV Presents: Diary of Destiny , and worked as Director of Photography on the feature film A Life. She is currently in discussions with Current TV in the U.S. to produce documentary content for their television station.
Stephanie's passion is for documentary filmmaking, and its potential to reveal the truths of life that so often go unnoticed by many. She believes in the necessity of bringing unique subcultures, controversial issues and compelling personal stories onto the world stage.
AMY KELLNER Co-Producer
Over the past three years, Amy has shifted her focus between editing and producing documentaries and short narratives under her production company Purple Daisy Productions. Most notable of the films she has edited is a short documentary called Fat of the Land, in 2004. It is the story of a yonug Korean female trying to live up to Asian and Western beauty standards. Recently the documentary was purchased for airing on CBC.
Amy intends to continue producing documentaries and narratives while seeking opportunities to practice other areas of filmmaking, such as editing.
MICHAEL Y. WONG Cinematographer
Michael's real interest in filmmaking was sparked after producing and directing his first project Let The Season Begin, a music video focusing on the sport of dragon-boat racing. His video won the Honourary Award in the 2004 Videomaker Magazine contest. Michael then shifted his focus towards building his own video production company, Video E-nabled. His growing business has allowed Michael to aquire some of the latest in High Definition video production equipment.
Michael's long-term vision is to produce and direct a feature film, through his production company, in addition to combining the artistic and creative merits of film language aquired from Ryerson University with the technical experience he gains daily.
KYLE WILSON Editor
Kyle specializes as a film and video editor, creating short films and promotional material. Kyle has edited numerous projects in the community while continually developing his professionalism. His work brought him recognition with 5 nominations and a gala screening of a short commercial he edited. More recently, Kyle has extended his services to commercial material including promotional and corporate videos. Kyle's core focus remains with motion picture film editing.
CHRISTOPHER GUGLICK Composer/Sound Designer
Christopher graduated from Fanshawe College's esteemed Musi Industry Arts program in 2005, where he studied audio engineering with legendary producer Jack Richardson and Juno award winning engineer Kevin Doyle. Christopher was nominated for two awards at the MIA awards (Best Performance in 2004 and Best Songwriting in 2005). He then went on to work with one of Toronto's largest audio post production houses, Theatre D Digital. He also worked as a sound effects editor on such television shows as Full Ride for ESPN and The Wilkinsons for CMT. His original music was also chosen among hundreds to be featured in Carolyn Hurren's directorial debut The 'Yeah Whatever' Girl.
MAURY SHESSEL Sound Recordist
Maury enjoys all aspects of filmmaking, including directing, editing and sound recording. His latest employment for televisions The Fight Network, has provided him vast knowledge of industry standards and given him a wide range of professional experience.
